So another Kennedy has been found to be driving impaired late at night. Thankfully this one did not kill anyone. One wonders why a) the Capitol police supervisors did not require Patrick Kennedy to take a field sobriety test after the arresting officer in his report suggested that Kennedy "smelled of alcohol", had bloodshot eyes and was unsteady and unable to perform simple dexterity tests and b) why the media has not tried to get to the bottom of this situation by rigorously questioning all of the people who were involved. It is outrageous that the Congressman got a pass to go to Mayo for yet another chance to dry out. Does the Kennedy family have the pseudo qualified medical authorities like the goomba who said this is definately a case of Ambien interaction on permanent retainer?
One wonders which is the more rational choice - driving with a Kennedy or hunting with the Vice President - I would definately choose the hunting.
