Opportunities in the improbable

Tonight's Rivercats game was an interesting one. Charles Thomas got two homeruns. The Cats won 6-2 (That makes their post allstar break record 25-8). Tuscon lost. With 20 games left, that leaves Sacramento 7 games out - 7 games remaining against the Sky Sox (3 here/4 there), 9 against Fresno (5 there) and 4 against Tuscon, all here. Our season then comes down to the last place Grizzlies - 25.5 games out but a pretty good record against the Cats. At the same time, we need to have Tuscon fall off its monumental pace from the rest of the season (currently .633).
